Overview

As the first and only national / global multicultural foundation for adoptees and their families representative of the international, domestic, and foster care adoption experience established in May 2011 and officially launched in September 2011, the Mixed Roots Foundation seeks to improve the lives of those touched by adoption and foster care by leveraging philanthropy and grassroots fundraising to help them achieve their dreams and goals through managing and distributing funds that will directly positively impact both the local and global adoptee community and their families for generations to come.

We take great pride in our team that is comprised of experienced board directors, advisory, and honorary board members as well as staff, volunteers, and consultants to ensure transparency and fiscal responsibility.
